Editorial Wedding Photographer
in Scotland

Based in Scotland, Edinburgh I document weddings for fashion forward and design-led couples who value authentic and timeless aesthetic. My approach combines editorial direction with the candid feel of documentary photography — captured on digital and nostalgic 35mm film for a truly artful and romantic result.

Whether you are planning an intimate city elopement, full day wedding in Edinburgh, Glasgow or a grand multi-day wedding experience in one of Scotland’s historic venues, every story is photographed with care, emotions and an eye for refined details.

my style and approach. what it feels like to work together

My work sits at the intersection of documentary storytelling and editorial aesthetics. I'm drawn to the natural rhythm of a wedding day, an editorial high fashion direct flash paparazzi style and the beauty that already exist within it. Rather than directing every moment, I observe and shape what is already happening into photographs that feel both honest and visually refined.

Fashion has always been a strong influence in the way I see and compose images. I pay close attention to details, silhouette, movement, texture and the overall styling of a wedding. These elements allow me to approach a wedding day with an editorial eye creating images that feel considered and elevated while still remaining true to the moment.

Film photography particularly 35mm film is an important part of my process. It slows everything down and brings a different level of intention to the way I photograph. I love the softness, colours, rawness and nostalgic feel that film adds to a wedding day.

Ultimately, my goal is to create photographs that feel both effortless and enduring. Images that hold real emotion but also visually striking. I want couples to see themselves in their photographs in a way that feels belongs to them and completely true to the atmosphere of their day.

wedding photography
on 35 mm film

The majority of my couples choose to include a film option alongside digital coverage. It sits naturally within the day. Used quietly throughout, depending on light, timing and how the moments unfold.

Most weddings I photograph in Scotland and abroad move at their own pace and film becomes part of that rhythm without changing anything about it. There’s no need to perform or plan for it differently, it simply blends into the way the day is already happening.

Couples often only notice afterwards which photographs were taken on film. What stands out to them is not the format, but the feeling in the images. A softer pace, slightly different tone and a sense of atmosphere that feels very true to the moment.

Full-day 35mm film coverage is also available for couples who would like their entire wedding documented on film. This is a more intentional approach, where the day is photographed exclusively on 35mm, from beginning to end, for those who are drawn to the process and aesthetic of film throughout their entire story.

It’s not about adding something extra to the wedding. It’s just another way of seeing it as it happens.

luxury destination weddings across europe

For couples planning a destination wedding that feels elegant, personal, and beautifully considered, finding the right photographer is about more than photographs alone. You want someone who understands the pace of a luxury celebration, blends seamlessly into your day, and captures it with style and intention.

My couples value great design, unforgettable locations, and the experience they create for the people they love most. Whether you’re celebrating on the shores of Lake Como, in a Venetian palace, or at a private villa in Tuscany, my focus is on documenting the atmosphere, the energy, and all the moments that make your wedding uniquely yours.

My approach combines natural, unscripted moments with editorial portraits that feel effortless rather than staged. You’ll be free to enjoy every part of your wedding while knowing the moments that matter are being captured beautifully.

If you’re planning a destination wedding abroad and want photographs that feel as refined and memorable as the celebration itself, you’re in the right place.
